'Huize Molenwijk', together with the estate and coach house, is part of 'Buitenplaats Molenwijk'. The house was built in 1819 for the Middelburg lawyer and merchant Jonkheer Mr. Pieter Johan Boddaert. The last private owner of Buitenplaats Molenwijk is emeritus pastor C.F.H. Baron Van Tuyll van Serooskerken, who completely restored the house, a national monument. Nowadays, Buitenplaats Molenwijk is owned by Stichting Molenwijk. The house was modernized in 2012, after which it was furnished on the advice of an interior designer. *Celebrations und Partys are not allowed.
