How it started at Schoonzicht Holiday | Our history
Schoonzicht Holiday, founded by H.J. Tijhuis & R. Tijhuis-Bouwman, started in the 1970s as a window cleaning company under the name Schoonzicht, which roughly translates to "Clean view." Schoonzicht washed the windows of holiday homes for the VVV in Oostkapelle. Later on, the cleaning and technical services were also provided by Schoonzicht.
Now it is Schoonzicht Holiday, a company that rents out holiday homes in Zeeland. We once started with three holiday homes and an "office" in the basement area of the Bos en Duin hotel in Oostkapelle. Our office then moved to Zompe 39 in Serooskerke. Nowadays we are located at Zompe 2 in Serooskerke. With three office employees, technical service, and its own cleaning team, Schoonzicht Holiday has grown enormously over the years.
